- This article is long enough and was promoted to GA status within the past 7 days. Earwig check did not find any copyright issues. In general, the article is within policy as far as it pertains to DYK eligibility. QPQ is done. However, I cannot approve the hook. It is cited, but it is not interesting to a broad audience. An alternative hook is needed to satisfy this criterion. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 19:57, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
- Valid. I had my own doubts as well. However, I opted to put it up anyway in hopes of possibly workshopping a good alt. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 20:07, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
- There may be something interesting that can be said about her work with food insecurity, just from a brief read of the article. In particular, her statement that GMOs are necessary to keep Bolivian producers competitive. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 20:15, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
- That could work. Her links to the country's agribusiness sector could also be used. Perhaps something like:
- ALT1: ... that Eliane Capobianco's election to the Bolivian Constituent Assembly reflected the propensity of the country's agribusiness elites to occupy positions that granted them influence over land reform policy?
- I think that's better. It's not earthshattering but I think it's much better at satisfying interesting to a broad audience than the original hook was. I'm willing to approve ALT1. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 22:04, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
