Edward Tyrer
[edit]- ... that Edward Tyrer, the Commissioner of Police, Hong Kong, was mysteriously approved for early retirement on "health grounds" at the height of the leftist riots in July 1967?

- Length and date are good, and citations are everywhere present, but they're all in Chinese, so I'll have to assume that they're good. However, the wording is awkward, as in many places it's not normal English and indeed somewhat hard to understand. I'd rework things myself if I were confident, but I'm not comfortable doing it because I don't understand everything well enough. Nyttend (talk) 22:05, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- The article is based on its Chinese version in the Chinese Wikipedia, which was also written by me. Since I am not a native English speaker, you are welcome to rework parts that you find awkward or you can point out the problems to see whether I can correct them. Thanks. --Clithering (talk) 11:21, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
