Eduardo Duhalde
[edit]... that Eduardo Duhalde (pictured), who became president of Argentina during an economic crisis, was benefited by the jump in the international price of soybean?
- Reviewed: 2005 FA Cup Final
Improved to Good Article status by Cambalachero (talk). Self-nominated at 18:31, 1 July 2016 (UTC).
- This article is a newly-promoted GA and fulfils the criteria of length and timeliness. The image is appropriately licensed, the article is neutral and the sources largely in Spanish and unavailable to me, so I was unable to check for copyright issues. The hook is unsatisfactory and needs rephrasing; it was Argentina that benefited from the jump in soybean prices not Duhalde in his personal capacity which is what I thought when I read the hook. - The "new" president is Macri, we are talking about 2002, not modern day. What about

... that attempts by Eduardo Duhalde (pictured), the president of Argentina in 2002-2003, to resolve an economic crisis were assisted by a jump in the international price of soybean?Cambalachero (talk) 18:44, 11 July 2016 (UTC)
- Its still a bit clunky but the facts are cited inline and accepted in good faith. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:19, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but clunky hooks should not be approved, and these are certainly clunky. There is no rush; a few days extra to come up with a smoother hook that is also interesting is never amiss. BlueMoonset (talk) 00:58, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
- ALT4: ... that soybeans helped Argentine president Eduardo Duhalde (pictured) resolve an economic crisis? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:51, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
- Seems fine for me. Cambalachero (talk) 14:02, 16 July 2016 (UTC)
- New reviewer needed to check ALT4; previous clunky hooks have been struck. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:37, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
- New enough, long enough, well referenced, neutrally written. I did some minor copyediting throughout to restore English grammar. As all sources are Spanish-language or offline, unable to check for close paraphrasing. ALT4 is definitely hooky; offline hook ref AGF and cited inline. QPQ done. Image is freely licensed. ALT4 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 19:14, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
