Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi
- ... that property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is engaged to marry Princess Beatrice of York, whom he has known since childhood? Source: "He first met Beatrice as a child..." [1]

- Article is new enough and long enough. It is neutrally written, and is appropriately sourced. The hook is interesting; AGF on paywalled source. No image is used. One of the sentences was far too close to the source; I have paraphrased; please take more care in the future. QPQ is complete. Good to go. Vanamonde (Talk) 20:50, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but I was wondering why this subject is notable. His only claim to fame seems to being the princess's fiance. If they break up, is he still notable? Yoninah (talk) 00:12, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
- He might then be even more notable; it's been a while since the last time a British princess was jilted. But in all seriousness, Yoninah, he does seem to be independently notable. For example, this NYT profile of Mapelli Mozzi is entirely about his real estate career, and mentions his connection to the British royal family only in passing. - What matters is whether or not there has been significant coverage in reliable sources, per WP:GNG, and he clearly passes that bar. If the article would survive AfD, then there is no policy-based reason not to have it as a DYK. Edwardx (talk) 12:17, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
