Eco-Link@BKE
[edit]- ... that Eco-Link@BKE is the first ecological corridor of its kind in Southest Asia, and is intended to help conserve animals such as the banded leaf monkey and Sunda pangolin in Singapore? Conservation Corridor: "It is the only crossing of its kind in Southeast Asia"; National Parks Board: "The first of its kind in Southeast Asia"; Conservation News: “As the vegetation grows taller and denser, we can expect more animals like the Malayan colugo (Galeopterus variegatus) and possibly the Raffles’ banded langur (Presbytis femoralis femoralis) to use the Eco-Link to cross between nature reserves,” & "At least one Sunda pangolin crossed Eco-Link each month between October 2014 and December 2015, and no Sunda pangolins were run over near the Eco-Link between April 2015 and October 2015."; Straits Times: "With the eco-link in place, Ms Chan of NParks hopes that the banded leaf monkey will one day make its way to Bukit Timah." & "No dead pangolins, however, have been found on major roads near the reserves from April 2014 to October 2015."

- This interesting article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are sourced inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ has been done. It would be interesting to have an image in the article. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:37, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks. I would love to have an image in the article. If I ever get back to Singapore I plan to take a picture myself, but for now I haven't been able to find a free one. There are government photos, but I don't know if those are copyright free in Singapore as they are in the US. Maybe I'll check if anyone knows on the WP:Singapore talk page.
