Duke Huan of Chen

[edit]

Created by Zanhe (talk). Self-nominated at 08:38, 13 June 2015 (UTC).

  • The hook (and the article) is a bit confusing. Did his brother murder the crown prince while the duke was missing or after his body was found? Can you offer an ALT2 and/or ALT3 to clear this up? The current hook makes it sound like the murder occurred after his body was found, but the article is ambiguous. Viriditas (talk) 01:42, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
@Viriditas: Historical records do not mention the exact date his brother murdered the crown prince, so we don't know the exact sequence of events, hence the ambiguity. How about the ALTs? -Zanhe (talk) 19:29, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
  • These hooks are much better. I'm not comfortable reviewing hooks I can't verify for myself (source is in Chinese), so I'll leave this review for another editor. If you have an English language source of any kind, I'll be happy to review. Viriditas (talk) 20:01, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
  • @Viriditas: There are a few English sources. Only snippets are available online, so you can verify some, but not all of the info. See this and this. -Zanhe (talk) 20:16, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
  • Thank you, I will take another look. Viriditas (talk) 20:31, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
  • Review: (New) article created on June 8 and nominated on June 13; (Long enough) 1711 characters readable prose size, bordering on the short side; (Within policy) neutral, cites sources with inline citations; original source is in Chinese. (Hook) ALT1 is around 155 characters; (Content) interesting, AGF hook is accurate. (QPQ) OK. Viriditas (talk) 08:32, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
