Duesenberg Model A
[edit]- ... that the Duesenberg Model A (pictured) was the first production car with four-wheel hydraulic brakes?

- Comment: ALT1:: ... that the Duesenberg Model A (pictured) wasn't called the "Model A" until after its production ended?

- both hooks are short and snappy. Alt1 (which I prefer) is backed by an on-line ref whilst the other is off line. Article length and citation is fine and no evidence of paraphrasing found. No other DYK rules broken. Well written and a car makes a change from our usual range of articles. Thanks Victuallers (talk) 15:08, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
- ...Sam has pointed me at an online hook for the brakes. There is no stopping him! So these are both ticked. Say it again Sam Victuallers (talk) 19:35, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
- (alt2) ... that no one who bought the first production car with four-wheel hydraulic brakes (pictured) called it the Duesenberg Model A?
- It's not that they didn't know it was, it's that it wasn't. It wasn't even a contemporary informal name. No-one called it a Model A until Duesenberg Inc. started doing so when the Model J was introduced more than a year after the end of Model A production. - Point taken, alt2 is changed, you could do that if you wanted Victuallers (talk) 14:48, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
