- ALT1: ... that various incarnations of Doctor Strange, the upcoming 2016 Marvel Studios film, have been in development since 1986?
Created by TriiipleThreat (talk), Favre1fan93 (talk), Richiekim (talk), and Adamstom.97 (talk). Nominated by TriiipleThreat (talk) at 14:47, 6 November 2015 (UTC).
- Recently moved to mainspace, well written, within policy, well cited, hook is interesting and cited, and QPQ is done. Good to go. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 17:22, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- The lead makes the statement "The film began principal photography in November 2015 in Nepal, before moving to the United Kingdom in December 2015." This is clearly not possible, as December is in the future, not the past. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:12, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- @BlueMoonset: Corrected.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 23:29, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- @BlueMoonset: Thanks for noticing that. Restoring tick. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 02:45, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
- The hook seems to be about Benedict Cumberbatch, not Doctor Strange. Not sure if there is any rule that DYK hooks should be about their topic, but it does seem like common sense. Nothing else jumps out at me as an alt hook, but I didn't look too carefully. Feel free to suggest something. --Jakob (talk) aka Jakec 14:14, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Jakec: The relevance is made and cited in the article. That's all that matters.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 15:58, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
