Disappearance of Tiffany Whitton
[edit]... that Tiffany Whitton has not been seen since she fled loss prevention officers at a Georgia Walmart ten years ago today?Source: "Instead, she escapes from them. Moving like a mustang, she runs out of her handbag and out of her black flip-flops. She does not head straight for the door; she zigs straight at the guy in the striped polo shirt, then zigs back past her boyfriend, out to the parking lot. He does not turn around to see where she goes. The loss-prevention associates do not chase her; the one in the hat stands with his hands on his hips, as if awaiting her return. He has good reason to believe she will come back; he has her handbag and her shoes are on the floor. She does not come back. She never comes back. She is never seen again once she is beyond the range of the cameras, her life apparently ending—and her long afterlife beginning—at the very instant of her escape., Tom Junod, "Missing: The Curious Anomaly of Tiffany Whitton's Disappearance", Esquire; April 29, 2016- ALT1:... that Tiffany Whitton left her purse and flip-flops behind when she ran out of a Walmart at 2 a.m. and disappeared, ten years ago today? - New enough, long enough, neutrally written, adequately referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. Hook refs verified and cited inline. QPQ done. Image in article is fair use. The only problem is that The Atlanta Journal-Constitution article is a dead link. Do you have an archived version? Yoninah (talk) 09:37, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: Wow, imagine that ... they must have just recently done that, because that URL worked last week. I found what appears to be an internally archived version and put it in. Daniel Case (talk) 21:08, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
