Disappearance of Lauren Cho

  • ... that the Gabby Petito disappearance has lead to renewed media interest in the disappearance of Lauren Cho, who went missing in June 2021 in the area between Morongo Valley and Yucca Valley? Source: "The widespread national media attention over the killing of 22-year-old Gabby Petito has led to renewed interest in other missing person cases that have received far less coverage. Among them is that of Lauren Cho, a 30-year-old Asian American woman from New Jersey who was last seen on June 28 in a remote area of the California desert." ([1] (Yahoo News)

  • The article was created on September 23rd and nominated on the same day, so it's new enough. At ~2500 characters, it is long enough. The article reads neutrally and properly uses inline citations. I've modified the hook slightly to make it fit within the length requirements and to bold the subject article. Otherwise, it's interesting and works well. The QPQ has been done and there's no image to review. Looks good to go. SilverserenC 04:00, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
  • @Thriley and Leaky.Solar: Hi! Unfortunately, I can't promote until the text of the hook appears in some way in the article, cited inline. Could you take care of that for me? I'd like to promote sooner rather than later, as it is based around current events. theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (they/them) 07:08, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
