Detropia

[edit]
  • ... that the name of the documentary Detropia was partly inspired by an abandoned auto parts store?
  • Comment: I started this article in November, but greatly expanded it Dec. 29 and 30.

5x expanded by KConWiki (talk). Self nom at 04:52, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

  • The article has expanded far enough, it is presently long enough, is neutral, with citations and the copyright status of the image is irrelevant because there is no image attached. No evidence of copy and paste. It is interesting and importantly there is a citation for the hook itself.

It's ready. --Marianian(talk) 12:03, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

  • Unfortunately, it isn't ready yet. All of the refs are bare URLs; DYK does not allow bare refs, and all of these must be properly cited. The article is also doubly classified as a stub; stubs cannot be promoted. Finally, there is excessive quoting of Ewing in the Background section: there's more of her words than the editor's. Far more of this needs to be paraphrased to avoid abusing fair use. Most of the paragraphs are single-line and single-sentence, which gives it a stub-like appearance; it would help if there was more that went together in multi-sentence paragraphs. The Reception second is especially problematic in this regard, but Background could also be improved. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:34, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
