@Gerda Arendt:The article is new enough (exactly within the maximum nomination period, well done!). It's long enough, referenced throughout, neutral, and has no detectable copvio problems. The hook is short enough, interesting and sourced within the article - some of the sources are offline, they will be accepted in good faith. QPQ is confirmed. I only have the following questions/points: 1) Should the hymn title be in italics as well? I normally go by the rule of italicising everything that isn't English. But would it look weird to have italics and double inverted commas? Perhaps there is a convention when it comes to hymn titles? 2) You might consider clipping the hook after ... centuries?. The ...declaring that part makes the hook less pithy and I find the most interesting bit to be the existence of this hymn title in three successive centuries. I'm happy to approve as it is; I'm just leaving this as a suggestion. Modussiccandi (talk) 16:56, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for the thorough review! Hymns, poems and other "small works" are just in quotation marks in the English Wikipedia (not in others), and those marks do the trick of separating the beginning from the rest of the prose. As for the other: if we don't mention the content, I believe we owe the reader a translation in brackets, to not leave them alone with all the German they may not understand.
