  • ... that David Fishwick went from a £27.50 a week pebbledashing job to becoming the biggest minibus supplier in Britain?

  • Comment (not a review): Alt2 compelled me to click on chip butty, not on Fishwick. Might not be the best way to direct traffic to the Fishwick article. Cbl62 (talk) 15:19, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
  • Promoted to GA recently enough. I trust that the GA review addressed any sourcing or content concerns. I really like ALT1, it's really funny to think about. The hook isn't sourced here, but it is in the article and I checked the source and it checks out (at 17:28). The previous DYK nom timed out so this should be fine. Approved for ALT1, cheers! • Di (they-them), please complete your review by checking sourcing and content. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 14:44, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
      • I did, as it says in my review. The source for ALT1 checks out, and the page is a GA. Di (they-them) (talk) 15:06, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
        • Many articles have passed GAN with sourcing and content issues Di (they-them). I remember multiple cases where such articles were nominated for DYK, the issues were noticed, and the article was subsequently sent to WP:GAR. The job of the DYK reviewer is to provide a full review irrespective of its status. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 15:51, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
        • I've now checked, the content seems fine and the sources seem fine to me as well. Di (they-them) (talk) 17:10, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
@Di (they-them): Any chance you could assess the other hooks as well? Given the previous rejection, I'd prefer it if a promoter had options.--Launchballer 11:05, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
Sure thing. The main hook about £27.50 also checks out in the video at five minutes in. The chippy hook checks out in the Times article. The "best comedy character" hook also checks out in the other Times article. They all seem good to me. Di (they-them) (talk) 13:40, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
