[edit]- ... that Flight Lieutenant Dave Shannon (pictured) was one of four Australian pilots to take part in the "Dambuster" raid of May 1943?
- ALT1: ... that at age twenty, Flight Lieutenant Dave Shannon (pictured) was the youngest pilot to take part in the "Dambuster" raid of May 1943?

- QPQ done. All images have good copyrights for main page. Article is new enough and long enough on date of nomination. Article is neutral enough. Uncited text is part of quotes that clearly stipulate the quote is cited by the reference in previous paragraph that leads up to it. Otherwise, article is fully supported by inline citations. Spot check of available online sources not tool ready to use shows no cause for plagiarism concerns. Both main hook and alt supported by text and have inline citations. I find youngest to be more interesting.
- Offline sources support text and were not plagiarised. --LauraHale (talk) 05:44, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
Good to go with preferences for alt1 as I find it more interesting. --LauraHale (talk) 05:44, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
