- This article is new enough and long enough (now that I have added a few more words). The image is in the public domain, the article is neutral, I detected no policy issues and a QPQ has been done. I don't like the hook, the "soon after" bit is vague and the New York date is uncited and was wrong in the article, and the figure 180 is also uncited. I would like to suggest:

... that Das goldene Kreuz (The Golden Cross), the second opera by Ignaz Brüll (pictured), premiered in Berlin to considerable acclaim but was later banned by the Nazi regime?Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:20, 30 August 2018 (UTC)
- I miss the international success, and "later" is even more vague than "soon after", talking decades, not a few years. Some wordsmith please for: this comic opera was an immediate international success in the 19th century, but a ban by the Nazis because the composer was Jewish killed it forever. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:36, 30 August 2018 (UTC)

- Fine with me, thank you! Or should we need to be specific and say that it was a national success and played within the next (13) years in London and NY with less success? - I added the ref for the 180, as you will have seen. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:34, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
- Approving ALT2. User:Векочел has also reviewed the nomination but it is unclear which hook Векочел has approved. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:09, 5 September 2018 (UTC)
