Dallas Mavericks all-time roster

[edit]

Created/expanded by Martin tamb (talk). Self nom at 14:32, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

  • Length and origination date fine, adequate referencing in the article(although more in-line refs should be added, I added a couple to the 2nd paragraph to meet the DYK referencing requirement but more can easily be added); hook is sourced; no evidence of plagarism (although I was not able to get into the 2 ESPN sites to check those). The only issue is that the hook implies that the player, Wang Zhizhi, "is" a Maverick, but he no longer is with the team. Therefore, the hook should be in the past tense, for example:
ALT1 - ... that the first Chinese player in the NBA was a Maverick?
Other clunkier versions may be appropriate (e.g., is a former Maverick), but I don't think those are necessary here. Rlendog (talk) 16:53, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
  • All sentences in the second paragraph now referenced with inline citation. Some of the sentences in the third paragraph is referenced to the statistics table and the general references. Added archived ESPN refs if you want to check again. I agree that it should be in past tense, it's a mistake in my part about the original hook. Thanks for the review. — MT (talk) 21:34, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
  • Original hook withdrawn due to incorrect tense. ALT1 by User:Rlendog is the correct one. — MT (talk) 16:04, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
  • Good to go then. Rlendog (talk) 20:05, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
