Da'ud ibn al-Adid
- ... that Da'ud, the heir-apparent of the last Fatimid caliph, spent almost his entire life imprisoned by the successor Ayyubid dynasty? Source: Daftary, p.253: 'Al-Adid had appointed his eldest son, Da'ud, as his heir apparent....He, like other members of the Fatimid family, was detained as a prisoner by the Ayyubids.' & p. 254: 'The real Da'ud b. al-Adid died as a prisoner in Cairo in 604/1207–1208, during the reign of the fourth Ayyubid sultan al-Malik al-Adil.'

- New enough and long enough. QPQ present. Must AGF on the offline sourcing. His age is unclear, but it's clear he was prisoner a long time from the text and the fragments you shared of the source. No textual issues. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 18:34, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
