Crescent Lake (Minnesota)
[edit]- ... that smallmouth bass, introduced into Crescent Lake, have spread to every major lake in the upper Poplar River watershed?

- Length is okay at 2204 characters; date of creation is also fine (November 6, 2011); the reference provided for the hook suggests that smallmouth bass were first observed in 2006, I can't see any mention of the 1990s. In general the references are lacking sufficient information on publisher and access date: the link and title alone are provided. Reflinks can (from glancing at it) help you to complete these, though I have never used it myself. Harrias talk 16:53, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
- From the source which gave the status as of June 19, 2006:
- “Smallmouth bass have been spreading through the Poplar River system for the past ten years, since first appearing in Crescent Lake”.

- Fair point, I missed that! Saw the bit that said "Smallmouth bass were found for the first time in this lake in 2006." and hadn't noticed it was talking about a different lake! Once the references are completed to include the publisher information etc, I'll happily support. Harrias talk 17:15, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
- Norstrem doesn't seem to be around but I will look at this today and fix it up if I can. 24.177.99.126 (talk) 17:22, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
