County Cricket Ground, Hove
[edit]- ... that the County Cricket Ground, Hove has also hosted football, lawn tennis and rugby union?
- ALT1:... that Sussex County Cricket Club won their first County Championship title in 2003 at the County Cricket Ground, Hove?
- Reviewed: Derek White (racing driver)
- Comment: More than 5x expanded. If the image isn't allowed (I think it has a free copyright licence, but the licences confuse me), then I'm happy to have the DYK without an image.
5x expanded by Joseph2302 (talk). Self-nominated at 20:34, 27 July 2015 (UTC).
- The original hook is interesting and adequately sourced, the article is certainly long enough, and QPQ has been satisfied, but I don't see how the recent expansion satisfies the 5x expansion criterion. My count suggests it was 714 characters on 31 January (before the recent expansion) and 2492 characters as of now. – PeeJay 21:17, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
- @PeeJay2K3: You're right, I miscounted- I checked the last edit that wasn't by me, and missed the 2 I made in January. So it needs to be 3500ish characters, which it isn't at the moment. I'll try to expand it in the next couple of days. Joseph2302 (talk) 21:24, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
- @PeeJay2K3: Now 3790 characters, which is over 5 times. Joseph2302 (talk) 18:57, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
- I now approve of the "newness" of this article. I would, however, suggest minor changes to the formatting of the hook; I'm assuming good faith on the source since it's subscription-based, but since we know (by the link) that the rugby match was actually rugby union, we should probably say that in the hook, instead of just "rugby". Also, you don't need to specify lawn tennis when the article is located at tennis; either way, the link should target tennis and then be piped to lawn tennis if necessary. Once these minor things are corrected, I'll approve. – PeeJay 19:05, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
- Fixed Fixed the issues, both in the hook and the article itself. Joseph2302 (talk) 19:12, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
