Conro Fiero House, Morris H. Whitehouse
[edit]( Back to T:TDYK )
( Article history links: )
- ... that Morris H. Whitehouse designed several Oregon buildings which made it to the National Register of Historic Places list, including the Conro Fiero House-turned-restaurant?
- Reviewed: Template:Did you know nominations/Mike O'Connor (journalist) and Template:Did you know nominations/Canterbury Mounted Rifles Regiment.
- Comment: Double nom. Conro Fiero House is new while Morris H. Whitehouse was 5x expanded. (ALTs welcome).

- Doing... Morris H. Whitehouse --Dennis Bratland (talk) 00:03, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
- 5x expansion verified for Morris H. Whitehouse; Conro Fiero House is new enough. Both articles long enough, well-referenced, and no close paraphrasing seen. 2 QPQs done. For the Morris H. Whitehouse article, a few more citations should be added under Projects to verify that these are indeed listed on the NRHP (I added a cite for the Conro Fiero House to verify the DYK hook). For the Conro Fiero House article, it would be nice if you could expand the Design section a bit, as this is after all an NRHP entry. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 00:44, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
- I've inserted citations from all the properties listed under "Projects", although some of them were already cited inline when they were first mentioned in the body of the article. Regarding expanding the design section - Admittedly that's what I was able to pick out of the information that I had access to. I will try to dig a little deeper but I know there is not much out there with a description of the building. The only source with that type of information is the nomination form, footnote [8]. I didn't want to depend too heavily on this source that's why I only picked out a few pieces of information. If all else fails I'll use whatever else this source has. - Thank you. Morris H. Whitehouse looks good; hook ref verified and cited inline. Regarding Conro Fiero House, most page creators do rely heavily on the nomination form; you could add more description from that. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 11:52, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
- I've expanded the design section of the Conro Fiero house article. Let me know if there are any further issues. EagerToddler39 (talk) 03:10, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
