Commonwealth War Graves Commission
[edit]... that the Commonwealth War Graves Commission has a budget of approximately CA$85 per commemorated war dead?
- Comment: Shame we couldn't get it on its anniversary

- Recent GA, well referenced with inline citations. There are two bare URLs, the current ref 124 and 126. Duplication detector revealed some issues with close paraphrasing, for instance sentences seem to be copied verbatim from the two mentioned URLs. Hook fact (or claim) is taken from the article and is cited to online reference. However, from my interpretation of the cited reference, the claim is not verified; the given figure of CA$85 seems to be the Canadian contribution to the budget (for one particular year) divided by the number of Canadian war dead; this most likely differs significantly from the total budget (divided by all Commonwealth war dead). I would like someone else to recheck this observation, as it is not quite clear cut. Oceanh (talk) 05:11, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
- Well done for spotting paraphrasing, attempted to change it. The fact that it's in Canadian dollars was peculiar, and your explanation is probably right. How about Alt 1: ... that the Commonwealth War Graves Commission commemorates 1.7 million deceased Commonwealth military service members in 153 countries? Thanks, Matty.007 11:59, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
