ALT1:... that the $20 commemorative banknote issued in 2015 is the only banknote issued by the Bank of Canada to depict Queen Elizabeth II wearing a tiara (crown)? Source: Bank of Canada honours the reign of Queen Elizabeth II ("...including a portrait of Her Majesty wearing a crown (tiara) for the first time on a Canadian bank note")
ALT2:... that the 1967 and 2015 Canadian commemorative banknotes feature the same portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, one wearing a tiara and one without? Source:Bank of Canada honours the reign of Queen Elizabeth II ("...including a portrait of Her Majesty wearing a crown (tiara) for the first time on a Canadian bank note" and "The portrait is based on a 1951 image by renowned Canadian photographer Yousuf Karsh – the same photograph that inspired the portrait engraving of the Queen, without the crownrait of Her Majesty wearing a crown (tiara) for the first time on a Canadian bank note")
Overall: The article looks good, but the hook could benefit from an image depicting the banknote. PhilrocMy contribs 20:24, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
@Philroc: The 1967 and 2015 banknotes are under Crown Copyright, so only the 1935 banknote (PD in Canada) would be a suitable DYK image. The image is probably only suitable for the original hook. (Note: I'll also try to upload a pic of the Centennial $1 banknote for the article before this gets promoted.) Mindmatrix 22:00, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
@Philroc: I've uploaded pics of the Centennial banknotes. They are under Crown Copyright until the end of 2017, so are subject to fair dealing and cannot appear on the front page. Mindmatrix 02:45, 19 January 2017 (UTC)
@Philroc: Is there anything else I need to do? Mindmatrix 18:16, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
New reviewer needed to complete the review; prior reviewer is too busy to continue. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 07:23, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
- Length, Date, Cite, QPQ, and Earwigs all checkout for original hook and Alt 3. The image for the first hook is also unencumbered by copyright due to its age. Original hook (image hook) and Alt 3 (non-image) approved. Mifter Public (talk) 20:43, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
