- I'm pretty sure a USG image is public domain whether or not it's on Flickr, Facebook, a .gov website, or an old photo album. The specific image in the hook is from a Flickr account that is undoubtedly the official Flickr account as it is linked from the unit's .mil website ([1]). - Why don't you ask them, what status the image is? Some images on Government websites are third party so don't come under the official exemption. Sfan00 IMG
