Colin Bloomfield
[edit]- ... that a beer brewed in honour of former Derby County footballer Dave Mackay is raising funds for radio presenter Colin Bloomfield's melanoma appeal?

- New and long enough, every paragraph has inline citations (except the lead, which is exempt), QPQ performed, checks for copyvio reveals no problems. Content of the hook is cited to a reliable source in the article. North America1000 03:41, 1 May 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but had to read the hook and the article a few times to understand what's going on. Bloomfield died on April 25; the hook makes it sound like he's still alive. I also feel the hook emphasizes Dave Mackay far more than the subject of this nomination. Perhaps you could focus just on the melanoma appeal? Yoninah (talk) 22:46, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
- I feel that might be putting two facts from different sources into the same hook. The beer was brewed during Bloomfield's lifetime, and there's a significance because Mackay is a big hero to Derby, the team who Bloomfield commentated for. The appeal is still going on even though Bloomfield lost his battle, just as there are many other charities baring the names of people who died. '''tAD''' (talk) 22:50, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
- Anyway, here's an ALT:
... that Derby County F.C. radio commentator Colin Bloomfield launched a melanoma appeal after his terminal prognosis, supported by a beer in honour of former player Dave Mackay?
