Clay Beauford
[edit]- ... that Medal of Honor winner Clay Beauford (pictured) was once a soldier in the Confederate Army?

- Suggest ALT1: ... that a duel between Councilmember Clay Beauford (pictured) of the 13th Arizona Territorial Legislature and a copper company's lobbyist was called off due to difficulties in finding French sabres?

- Both hooks meet all criteria, but Allen3's ALT is my preference. The article (originally from AFC) meets date, length, citation and other criteria. Few sources are online, and current refs [5] and [6] come up with "HTTP 403 Forbidden" errors—are the URLs correct? In any case, this is suitably referenced to numerous book sources.
