- Article promoted to GA status on October 15, 2019. Long enough, reads neutral. Ran an Earwig's test just to be certain, and it looks good (similar wording only due to quotations). Hook OK with me. Good to go, pending QPQ by Gerda Arendt; I don't think Chuckstreet needs to do a QPQ review. = paul2520 (talk) 19:46, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
- I reviewed now, Template:Did you know nominations/Well-Strung ;) - Thank you for the review, probably a look at the image would be good. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:28, 19 October 2019 (UTC)

- @GerdaArendt: "68 international students" is not what the article says. It says she taught "68 known students" and among the listed examples at least one (Carl Friedberg) is German, therefore not all the students were international. 97198 (talk) 12:20, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: Fixing ping. 97198 (talk) 12:22, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- For me, Germany - not today's Germany, btw - is one of the nations. How else to say it while remaining succinct? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:27, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- Oh, I understand. To me, "international students" means foreigners. How about "68 students from around the world"? 97198 (talk) 12:49, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- A bit touristy for my taste but if it helps why not? U.S. and UK mostly. I'd expect Asia and Africa ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:59, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this. Could we have a definitive hook wording? How about:
- ALT1:
... that the pianist Clara Schumann (pictured), who toured Europe for decades, taught 68 students, including those from Britain and the U.S., at Dr. Hoch's in Frankfurt?Yoninah (talk) 20:43, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
- ALT2: ... that the pianist Clara Schumann (pictured), who toured Europe for decades, taught 68 students at Dr. Hoch's in Frankfurt, including those from Britain and the U.S.? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:54, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
