Checkmate (1911 film)
[edit]- ... that The Morning Telegraph found the story of Checkmate to be foolish and completely improbable on many accounts?
- Reviewed: Upendra Nath Das
Improved to Good Article status by ChrisGualtieri (talk). Nominated by Sovereign Sentinel (talk) at 16:46, 5 September 2015 (UTC).
- New enough - promoted to GA on September 3, nominated same day. Long enough over 1500 characters. Hook: cited, accurate, short and interesting. Images Public Domain. Within policy ?: No close paraphrasing issues but some factual accuracy issues: the last statement: "The film is presumed lost because the film is not known to be held in any archive or by any collector" is not verified by the link given. Perhaps overlooked in the GA review? Who exactly presumes it lost, an authority or a wikipedian? --Animalparty! (talk) 20:04, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
