... that 2017 Michigan Wolverine teammates and 2017 All-Big Ten Conference honorees Chase Winovich and Khaleke Hudson were both from Pennsylvania, while fellow teammate and All-Big Ten selectee Lavert Hill once committed to play for Penn State?

- These three articles are new enough and long enough. The hook facts have inline citations, the articles are neutral, and the Earwig copyvio tool did not bring up anything amiss. Three QPQs have been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:45, 18 December 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but I don't see anything about Winovich and Hudson being from Pennsylvania written or sourced in the article. I see they attended high school in Pennsylvania, but that doesn't mean they were born there. Otherwise, I don't find the hook particularly hooky, unless you're from Pennsylvania. - Being "from" somewhere could mean either born in a place, raised in a place, or a resident of a place for a significant amount of time. What adjustment to the article or hook would you like to see to clarify this prose.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 21:18, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
- TonyTheTiger if you're sticking with this hook, perhaps write:
- ALT1:

ALT1, while solving the issue Yoninah raised, is 13 characters longer at 226, which is even more problematic lengthwise. A shorter hook will be needed. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:36, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
