Charles Wilkins Short
[edit]- ... that Charles Wilkins Short owned one of the most valuable private herbariums in the world?
ALT 1: ... that Charles Wilkins Short owned the largest herbarium in the United States, west of the Alleghenies, with 15,000 plant samples?

- Comment: The first hook is more concise, but the second one has more context.

- Length, newness, main hook verified but ALT1 was not. Ref [3] states: His herbarium was one of the most extensive and complete in the country, not that it was the "largest in the country". Also it would help if page numbers were provided for these facts. I had to search for these terms in the Google book. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 00:42, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
