Château de Kerjean
[edit]- ... that parts of Château de Kerjean (pictured), damaged during the French Revolution, were dismantled for sale as building material?

- New enough. Long enough. Dup detector found no issues. Hook is interesting and cited (in French, which I read quite well), as are all paras. NPOV. No QPQ done - looking at talkpage and archives, user has five previous DYKs, so a QPQ review is needed. Edwardx (talk) 20:35, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks - QPQ issue since resolved. Guliolopez (talk) 09:19, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- QPQ done, but I don't think the image licence is suitable for the front page. Edwardx (talk) 11:34, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks. While I'm not overly concerned about the image (no issue if it isn't included in any possible listing), for my own understanding (and future reviews), what is it about the licence that would be of concern? Guliolopez (talk) 20:08, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
- Oops, the image IS suitably licenced - my apologies. I saw the bit in the box about "This building is indexed in the Base Mérimée..." and misunderstood it. More haste, less speed on my part. The policy guidelines are at Wikipedia:Did_you_know#Images Anyway, in my experience, there are far too many articles with images for them all to be chosen, and most of mine never make it. - The last paragraph in the article needs a cite, per DYK rules. Yoninah (talk) 22:02, 18 September 2014 (UTC)
- The assertions in the last paragraph (state care and status since 1911, restoration, etc) are cited further-up in the content. Not least in the lead/intro. Thanks for highlighting however, and to cover "belt and braces" I've added in-line tags for the last para now also. Guliolopez (talk) 12:53, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
