Casa Fuerte de Adeje
- ... that the Casa Fuerte de Adeje (pictured) was built in Tenerife in the 1550s to protect a sugar mill against pirates, but the complex burnt down in 1902 and has yet to be rebuilt? Source: construction history (in English), Lista Roja covers the rest (in Spanish)

QPQ to comePentacentron - Comment: I'm still working on the article, but I think it's long enough for DYK now. Most sources are in Spanish, sorry. There are more photos available on Commons if the one here isn't suitable.

- New enough, long enough, well-written & neutral. Hook checks out, pic ok to use. How long will you be working on it, do you think? Me, I'd add at least Tenerife to the hook. Johnbod (talk) 18:37, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Johnbod: Thanks for the review! I wasn't expecting one so quickly. :-) I'm aiming to finish writing the article tonight, depending on how many distractions I get, and then normally Nikkimaria turns up to remove the Wikidata-powered infobox - after that it should be stable. I've added a link to Tenerife in the main hook above, thanks for pointing that omission out. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 16:53, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
