Carmenelectra shechisme
[edit]- ... that Carmenelectra was named after the model (pictured) because both have "splendid" bodies?

- ALT1: ... that CarmenElectra is rarely found in the Baltic rim due to its dislike of wetness?
- ALT2: ... that CarmenElectra is less than 4 mm long?
- The alternative hooks could be used for Wikipedia:April Fool's Main Page/Did You Know. They follow the April Fool's rule that says that "proper capitalization, title formatting, and linking standards, may be disregarded only if doing this will give away the joke". Would the original hook fare better than the April Fool's alternative ones? Surtsicna (talk) 17:18, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
- Article looks good, just over 1600 characters. I have reworded the opening and fossil sections slightly to reflect the move to Carmenelectra per monotypic genera guidelines and fossil taxa guidelines. I would support the opening hook. Both alts are not really accurate due to the name conventions for genera.--Kevmin § 21:55, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
- They don't have to be properly spelled to qualify for April's Fool DYK. Anyway, I think I too am in favour of the opening hook anyway. Thank you for moving the article. Surtsicna (talk) 00:54, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
- I've amended the opening hook by changing "model" to "Playboy model". I think the little creature would gain more attention that way. Do you object, Kevmin? Surtsicna (talk) 03:27, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
