- ... that sharp image of the Secretary of State at the time, Henry Kissinger, reading confidential documents in regards to Hanoi-Paris relationships at the Helsinki Accords in 1975, was shot overhead on the second floor with a Canon FL 300mm lens?
- ALT1:... that the Canon FL 300mm lens was the first to use fluorite on its lens elements became commonly used today on its L lens?

- Length and date check out fine. I haven't checked the ALT1 hook as the original seems to be far more interesting, but: 1) it is over the 200-character limit, so it needs to be shortened (in particular, that bit about the document being readable in the photo might be mentioned), and 2) the Time reference says 600mm, but how exactly do we know they were mistaken? - The ALT1 hook does not seem too interesting and it doesn't parse, so I've tweaked the article slightly to create another:
- ALT2:... that the Canon FL 300mm lens was the first in the world to use artificially grown fluorite crystal on its lens elements?
