Canadian Hockey Association (1968–1970)
- ... that the Canadian Hockey Association worked with junior ice hockey as a way to "change the hockey pattern in Canada"? [1]
- ALT1:... that the Canadian Hockey Association arranged the first Canadian national junior ice hockey championship not under the jurisdiction of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association? [2]

- Nominated in time, length is fine as a created article (could do with some more para breaks though!) Can we come up with a kickier hook? Th first hook seems very marketing language, whilst the second seems super flat. Even saying that the Canadian Hockey Association only lasted for three years would be a start! - Lee Vilenski, how about these hooks? HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 21:11, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
- ALT2 ... that Clarence Campbell stated that the National Hockey League would not do business with the Canadian Hockey Association due to potential lawsuits?
- ALT3 ... that due to an ongoing conflict between the Canadian Hockey Association and Canadian Amateur Hockey Association, it was speculated that players and parents could become hesitant to sign contracts?
- ALT4 ... that the Canadian Hockey Association threatened to seize the assets of the St. Thomas Barons after they abandoned the CHA east-west national final?
- ALT5 ...
that after the St. Thomas Barons abandoned the Canadian Hockey Association east-west national final, the association fined them $700 and suspended the coach and manager for one year?
- - I'm happy with either of the bottom two. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 21:13, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for the suggestions HickoryOughtShirt?4. I struck ALT5 since that discipline was handed out by the WOJHL instead of the CHA. Flibirigit (talk) 21:16, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
- Flibirigit, You may wish to make that clearer in the article since it says
The CHA later agreed not to suspend the team, and instead fined the Barons $700 and suspended the coach and manager for one year
. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 21:18, 2 July 2020 (UTC)- Fixed. Thanks. Flibirigit (talk) 21:36, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
