Can She Bake a Cherry Pie?
[edit]... that Can She Bake a Cherry Pie? was filmed in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, all within a few blocks of the American Museum of Natural History?
- Reviewed: Dostana (2008 film)
5x expanded by SL93 (talk). Self-nominated at 00:53, 17 July 2017 (UTC).
- Hook fact and length verified. Length, more than 5x expansion of article, and policy compliance thereof verified. Good to go. Dr. K. 13:26, 21 July 2017 (UTC)

- I could change the hook to that it was filmed in and takes place in Manhattan which might be better. But honestly, what is hooky in DYK lately? Especially with it being entirely subjective, no matter how no one wants to admit it? If crap about articles that are contradicted in other articles can be added, why not this? - Sorry if I sounded rude, but I can't really answer your subjective question. SL93 (talk) 22:36, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- I added more sources to try to add detail and color to the article. What do you think about:
- ALT1: ... that for the filming of Can She Bake a Cherry Pie? on Manhattan's Upper West Side, the filmmakers relied on regular pedestrian traffic to background the scenes rather than hiring extras? Yoninah (talk) 06:47, 26 July 2017 (UTC)

- Great. Calling on new reviewer for ALT1. Pinging @Dr.K.: For all the work I did on the article, I added myself to the DYK credits. Yoninah (talk) 11:14, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
- . The ALT1 hook fact was behind a paywall hosting The Cincinnati Enquirer. Article was rechecked for copyvios and policy compliance. Looks ok. Good work SL93 for expanding the article more than 5x and Yoninah for adding further details to it that helped to flesh it out. Dr. K. 15:39, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Dr.K.: thanks for the review. The Cincinnati Enquirer page has a "find" feature and a lot of the text in a box at the bottom of the page. That's how I culled the information for the article. Yoninah (talk) 19:06, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: Doing a search for that exact string, Google verified it: "The Cincinnati Enquirer from Cincinnati, Ohio on June 8, 1984 ...https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/100737712/ Jun 8, 1984 - You can tell that the street scenes in Manhattan were done without extras, with just the usual sidewalk traffic floating by. All the oblivious New ..." I have changed my pass to normal. Dr. K. 21:42, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
