Overall: The article could use some pictures but we don't seem to have much yet. The relationship of the place to Bukit Gasing (state constituency) needs explanation. These issues are no obstacle to DYK though and more exposure might help resolve them. Andrew D. (talk) 12:25, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
- Generally speaking, crime of one sort or another can occur anywhere. Doesn't this forest reserve host a rare wombat or something? EEng 22:59, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- Returned from prep per discussion at WT:DYK. Please provide a hook that focuses on the bolded subject. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 10:16, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
- I expanded Stripe-throated bulbul, the only species mentioned in the article, in case you wanted to use it in the hook. However, I think that the fact that part of the reserve had been sold off for development is quite interesting, - not exactly a harbour for trees and wildlife! - Right, see, there's always a good hook somewhere if people try. EEng 14:42, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
- ALT1: ... that part of the Malaysian tropical forest reserve Bukit Gasing has been protected from development, while another part has been sold to building contractors? Yoninah (talk) 19:10, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
- ALT1 sounds good: mentioned inline and verified. I kind of wish it could be made somewhat more explicit that the reason why the other part was developed was because it wasn't protected, or that the development took place despite protests (though that angle might be too political). But ALT1 should be okay for DYK purposes. I've modified the hook slightly to mention that the place is in Malaysia for clarity purposes. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 21:53, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
