Article is recently created, is just about long enough and is adequately sourced using inline citations (I took the liberty of citing her DOB too). No other noticeable problems. Hook is okay, though maybe it should also mention she's the first student from Alabama to receive the award? Sionk (talk) 03:26, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

- I don't want to hold up this nom unnecessarily, but why not simply "Alabama"? It's factually correct and I doubt many people outside of AL will know or care what Alabama Crimson Tide is: ALT2:... that Brooke Pancake was both the first Alabama athlete and female golfer to be recognized as Academic All-America Team Member of the Year? - She was the first athlete from the University of Alabama Crimson Tide athletics program to win the award. Not simply from the state of Alabama. I am fine with ALT2 if Alabama is a piped link back to either University of Alabama or Alabama Crimson Tide. Patriarca12 (talk) 12:28, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
