  • Nominated within time, hook cited and sourced. Prose and character lengths okay. QPQ done. Everything checks out fine, but I think the hook is incredibly boring. Maybe it's because I have no interest in football at all, but I don't see what is interesting about it being a friendly? Would like a second opinion here.  — Calvin999 20:26, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
  • From a football perspective it comes from the fact that FC United are a level 6 semi-professional team in England whereas Benfica are a level 1 internationally-known most successful team in Portugal. Their small stature makes opening their stadium with such a big team quite unusual. However, this would not be very clear to people who don't know football. As an alternative, how about: ALT2 ...that F.C. United of Manchester's Broadhurst Park (pictured) stadium includes a recycled stand previously used at another football ground? This was proposed by User:Odder while we were discussing the GA review passing. Cheers Delsion23 (talk) 23:34, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
  • Personally, I find your alternative more interesting than the original hook, and I would be more inclined to click on that one. GTG with ALT2.  — Calvin999 23:54, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
  • @Calvin999: Thanks, I think it sounds better, too, though I'd suggest that it be: "...that F.C. United of Manchester's Broadhurst Park stadium (pictured) includes a recycled stand previously used at another football ground?" It's been a while since that article was promoted to GA, but I guess it's just the usual backlogs. @Delusion23 Any ideas on how to get others involved in moving forward with this? odder (talk) 16:27, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
