Brad Vernon

[edit]

Created/expanded by FrickFrack (talk). Self nominated at 04:43, 24 April 2013 (UTC).

  • : Article: Expansion of the article was started on 24 April 2013 and four days later on 28 April it was 4,110 characters long, which makes it of sufficient length. Prior to the expansion it was a redirect. In general, the article is sufficiently referenced, though the first and third paragraphs of the "1976–81" subsection of the storyline section could do with references.
  • Hook: The hook is of appropriate length and referenced by footnotes 1 and 7 (good faith assumed for these offline sources). It's not very exciting, though. What about the following alternative (198 characters)?
SMUconlaw (talk) 10:42, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
The alternative hook is much more interesting. Let's go with that one.

Cool. You might want to try and fix the missing references I mentioned above, in case the DYK volunteer who makes the final decision feels this is a deal-breaker (I personally don't). — SMUconlaw (talk) 17:26, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
Additional citations to "1976–81" subsection added. FrickFrack 00:09, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
The sentence "After visiting Brad (Fletcher onward) in jail numerous times, Jenny becomes convinced Brad was becoming a more virtuous man." could also do with a reference. — SMUconlaw (talk) 07:53, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
Appropriate edits and reference added. FrickFrack 14:40, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
  • : All issues addressed. Good to go with ALT1. Hawkeye7 (talk) 21:09, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
  • I reworded ALT1 slightly. I think it reads better this way. — SMUconlaw (talk) 11:01, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
