... that the Bonifacio Monument(pictured) in Philippines, 45 feet (14 m) in height with symbolic images and features, known as the "Cry of Pugadlawin," is claimed to be one of the best monuments in the world?
@Doug Coldwell and Nvvchar: Coming to promote this, I cannot find all the hook facts in the sources. For example the common name is not mentioned, "Pugadlawin" should be "Pugad Lawin", and the sources do not state that the monument is acclaimed as one of the best in the world, as far as I can see. Cwmhiraeth Thanks for the review. While the height of the monument is given in ref 2, in ref 3 which is a snippet from this reference [1] at page 20 it is spelled "Cry of Pugadlawin", and the entire text reads "His Bonifacio Monument "Cry of Pugadlawin" (above) is hailed as one of the world's best monuments". If you agree I will change the wording in the hook text and the article to Pugad Lawin. Thanks.Nvvchar. 12:36, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
OK, I didn't see that snippet view. I'm not sure what that "book" source is, but it presumably emanates from the Philippines, and may not be made by someone with a global perspective. It might be safer to say "claimed to be" rather than "acclaimed as" and I have replaced the tick and altered the hook on that basis. I will leave it to another pair of eyes to promote this if they see fit. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 13:22, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
