Bjarne Store-Jakobsen
- ... that Sami politician, activist, and journalist Bjarne Store-Jakobsen's "mythical love story" is the subject of the 2014 film Bihttoš?
- Source: "My parents have this sort of mythical love story," is how she describes it. "Filming your family's past". CBC News. Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. CBC Radio. 31 July 2015. Retrieved 10 May 2024.
"Tailfeathers uses Bihttoš to tell the story of her parents’ marriage and divorce against the backdrop of a growing global Indigenous rights movement, and of Elle-Máijá’s own journey toward understanding her father. It is a film about trauma and pain, but also about understanding, forgiveness, and triumph. Among other things, it is also very much a film honoring her father (“Áhčči”), Bjarne Store-Jakobsen" Storfjell, Troy (1 November 2019). "Elsewheres of Healing: Trans-Indigenous Spaces in Elle-Máijá Apiniskim Tailfeathers' Bihttoš" (PDF). - Comment: This is quite a dense article, so I thank the reviewer in advance for their time and hard work in reading through it! I want to reiterate, as I had for Ryoko Kui's nomination, for any admin comes across this, I still haven't received the 25 DYK Creation and Expansion Medal yet, at 28 hooks, so if anyone can go through with it, it would be greatly appreciated!

Policy compliance:
- Adequate sourcing:
- Neutral:
- Free of copyright violations, plagiarism, and close paraphrasing:
- Other problems: - Article could do with another round of copy-editing to correct a few issues (e.g. capitalised pronouns, missing explanatory initials for organisations)
Hook eligibility:
- Cited: - The second source does not appear to be accessible to me; although the full quote is included here I am unable to verify this.

QPQ: Done. |
Overall: Interesting article, passes newness, length, copyvio and sourcing policies. QPQ done. I'm unable to verify the quote using the second source provided, so a replacement will be needed before I can pass this. Would also like to see another round of copy-editing on the article to clean up a few errors. Sims2aholic8 (talk) 09:30, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Sims2aholic8: Hi! Nice to meet you! Just completed copyediting as per your request. The link for the article for some reason doesn't allow for external access which is really weird, as you have mentioned. Here is a HTML link through Google Scholar that I used, but if this doesn't work, search for the title on the site and it should be the first result. Ornithoptera (talk) 23:47, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for providing that! I'm now able to verify the hook using the new reference provided, and the copy-edit looks good, so happy to pass this now! Sims2aholic8 (talk) 08:44, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
