Bhadrambhadra

[edit]
  • ... that Bhadrambhadra, written by Ramanbhai Neelkanth, is the first humorous novel in Gujarati literature? K. M. George (1992). Modern Indian Literature, an Anthology: Surveys and poems. New Delhi: Sahitya Akademi. p. 128. ISBN 978-81-7201-324-0.

@Gazal world:

  • New article on 10 June; nominated the same day.
  • Not previously been on the main page.
  • Easily long enough.
  • No disputes; no BLP, but meets BLP criteria; neutral; no copyvio.
  • No QPQ required.
  • Multiply cited in line to reliable sources.
  • Hook as ALT0 is fine, accurate, well cited and, IMO, interesting, but can I suggest the following as slightly more hooky:

ALT1: ... that the first humorous novel written in Gujarati was Bhadrambhadra, by Ramanbhai Neelkanth?

Hi Gog, Thanks. And yes, ALT1 is more fine. --Gazal world (talk) 12:45, 11 June 2018 (UTC)
