- ... that a member of Ditchling Chapel (pictured)—inspired by a George Whitefield sermon—said he would "tear the church to pieces", founded Bethel Chapel at nearby Wivelsfield, and took many worshippers with him?

- Comment: Both articles were started on this day. Note that Bethel was created by Ouddorp (talk · contribs), but using content from one of my sandboxes.

- I find that hook hard to read, although I can see what is meant. How about
- ALT1... that after hearing a sermon by George Whitefield, a member of Ditchling Chapel (pictured) said he would "tear the church to pieces" and founded Bethel Chapel at nearby Wivelsfield, taking many worshippers with him? Mikenorton (talk) 11:11, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, that's much better – thanks. Hassocks5489 (tickets please!) 11:41, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
- Hook is very interesting, AGF on source. Articles are both new and definitely long enough. Photo is public domain with alt text. The article is also very interesting as are the churches' histories. The only problem is that the hook is too long.
- ALT2 ... that after hearing a sermon by George Whitefield, a member of Ditchling Chapel (pictured) said he would "tear the church to pieces" and founded his own church, the Bethel Chapel?
- It's a bit shorter. Let me know if you are agreeable to this alt or suggest a new one. --Odie5533 (talk) 22:49, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review. Yes, the shorter ALT is fine. Hassocks5489 (tickets please!) 11:25, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
