[edit]- ... that Nike Wagner removed Beethoven's Ninth Symphony from the program of the festival Beethovenfest?

- Article is new enough, and created/expanded by the nominator. The article is big enough. But the first paragraph in the history section has no citation. The hook is in the article, cited, interesting enough, and confirmed by source. QPQ was performed. Earwig's Copyvio Detector finds no copying (but it would not notice translations from German). - Thank you for looking. It's translated from German, and - as usually - I don't know what to do because it's in offline sources I don't have. I may be able to find other sources but not before later this week, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:40, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
- http://www.buergerfuerbeethoven.de/start/Unser-Ziel-Festspielhaus-Beethoven/Die-Idee/news/Die-Einweihung-des-Beethovendenkmals-am-12-August-1845__5059.html?xz=0&cc=1&ci=5059 has the date and famous attendees, reason and performers. Is it a reliable source? Also anotehr disputed fact: https://web.archive.org/web/20090604011246/http://www.beethoven-orchester.de/index.php?id=8 claims that the Beethovenhalle was first built as a wooden building in 1845 (article differs) Graeme Bartlett (talk) 07:22, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for offering these. As above: will look later this week. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:11, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for your patience! I added a bit, using your suggestions and other sources. I found a VERY detailed account of the first festival on the Monument page. - Some facts still have no other source than the official website's chronology, [1]. What now? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:49, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
- What's next is that I give this the tick as it is cited sufficiently. Officil websites are allowed to be used to support facts as well if you like. Good to go. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 13:19, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
