Battlefield Archaeology
- Did you know that the rich history of battlefields also has a play in Archaeology? Source: "Battlefield archaeology is not concerned, primarily, with the causes of conflict but of the sites where conflict actually took place, and of the archaeology of the event." (Sutherland, T.L. (2005) Pg. 7)
- ALT1:This section of archaeology focuses on the battlefield and conflict, not the reason for the conflict. Source: "The discipline, therefore, applies the approaches and techniques of archaeology to military and civil conflict." (Schofield et al. (2002) Pg. 2)

- Sorry,Decerex, but it's not eligible. There have been no edits to Battlefield archaeology since early June 2019, and it hasn't been designated a Good Article. (Also, the hooks are not properly formatted, and the nomination hasn't been transcluded.) Please see WP:DYK for more information. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 08:33, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
