Avi Nissenkorn
[edit]- ... that Avi Nissenkorn, former chairman of Histadrut, Israel's largest trade union, was a competitive runner in his youth, and participated in the 1986 World Junior Championships in Athletics? Sources: list of participants (spelled Avi Nisenkorn), confirmation that this is the correct Avi Nissenkorn
- ALT1:... that Avi Nissenkorn, former chairman of Histadrut, Israel's largest trade union, was a competitive runner and Israeli sprinting champion in his youth? Source: "When young, Nissenkorn was Israel's sprinting champion and the junior record holder for 200 m" (translation))

- No CopyVio found. Hook is interesting, and well sourced. Not sure about the second hook - As a sprinting champion could literally be the school champion or similar. If he won the Isreali U17 Championship, or similar, I'd mention the actual championship by name, or state it as the Israeli national sprinting champion.
