General: Article is new enough and long enough |
---|
Policy compliance:
- Adequate sourcing:
- Neutral:
- Free of copyright violations, plagiarism, and close paraphrasing:
- Other problems: - as his daughter is not notable in her own right and could still be alive I don't think her name should be in the article. I could not find her name in the cited source, although I could not see beyond the first page of the article.
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation |

QPQ: Done. |
Overall: Article is long enough, new enough, has 1% copyvio score and sources appear reliable. QPQ has been done, the hook is interesting, and cited in the article and supported by the source. and besides a minor quibble about unnecessarily naming a family member, is good to go. - Thanks for the review and the feedback, DrThneed. I take your point about the daughter and removed the extraneous information about her. I think mentioning that somone has a daughter, as well as her given name and approximate date of birth, is appropriate for a biography, but please let me know if you feel differently. Her name and age are mentioned on the second page of the clipping: https://www.newspapers.com/clip/108709368/the-philadelphia-inquirer/. Topshelver (talk) 01:30, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks Topshelver, I agree it is appropriate to mention her and it is only the inclusion of her name I have a problem with (and thanks for the link to the second page, I couldn't figure how to get it without registering). However I still think you should remove her name, it harms the article not at all to remove it, and she is not notable in her own right, and potentially still living. - That's fair. I have removed the daughter's name. Please let me know of any other edits needed to turn the checkmark green! Topshelver (talk) 03:01, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks, Topshelver all good to go now. DrThneed (talk) 04:01, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
