Andrew B. Turnbull
[edit]- ... that in 1923 Andrew B. Turnbull helped convert the ownership of the Green Bay Packers to a publicly-held, non-profit corporation, and then was elected as the corporation's first president? Source: "Turnbull, publisher of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, grocery man Lee Joannes, attorney Gerald Clifford and Dr. W. Webber Kelly cancelled Lambeau's $2,500 debt, then rallied the community behind the team. In August 1923, with more than 400 in attendance at a local Elks Club, the club was transformed into a non-profit entity, the Green Bay Packers Corporation." and "On Sept. 17, 1923, at the corporation’s first stockholders meeting, Turnbull was elected president."

- This article is new enough and long enough. The hook is interesting and the hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no policy issues. A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 20:45, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
