ALT1 ... that critics have compared Marina's "Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land" to Britney Spears' "Womanizer", with one describing it as "an electro-glam-pop stomper"? "It’s got the atmosphere of a Britney Spears hit — especially “Womanizer”" (Stereogum) and "It opens with the title track, an electro-glam-pop stomper midway between Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” and "Strict Machine"-era Goldfrapp" (The Arts Desk).
Overall: This looks good to me. Copyvio OK. Carbrera, I wanted to check with you about my proposed ALT1 before approving. The original hook is probably OK, but it felt a little clunky, maybe? Thoughts? QuakerSquirrel (talk) 13:13, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
QuakerSquirrel – I do not mind ALT1 at all! Thank you for taking up this nomination. Carbrera (talk) 19:41, 9 June 2021 (UTC).
Approved with preference for ALT1. (Also, I added this song to my playlist -- catchy little tune.) Thanks, Carbrera! QuakerSquirrel (talk) 19:45, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
