Anasterias rupicola, Nacella macquariensis
[edit]( Back to T:TDYK )
( Article history links: )
- ... that the starfish Anasterias rupicola feeds on the limpet Nacella macquariensis, sometimes hunting it in groups?
- Reviewed: Day of Rage (Bahrain)
- Comment: Also reviewed Peter Isaacson. Please note, Nacella delesserti (used in the sources) is a synonym of Nacella macquariensis, the currently accepted name. This is explained in the "Taxonomy" section of the limpet article.
